Alumni Spotlight: Dasawn Gray

Passport Academy Charter School creates individualized education plans for students to serve unique skillsets and needs.

"The Passport Academy definitely expressed my entrepreneur life. My learning thing is more hands on and they cater to that. They meet you halfway there with all your learning interests and guide you through the process to anything you want to be in life,” said Dasawn Gray, owner of Pittsburgh’s Hazelwood Cafe coffee shop while reflecting about his educational experience at Passport Academy. “If I could describe the Passport Academy in one word it would be ‘unique.’ It’s a smaller classroom setting so you really get the time and attention that you need to be successful.”
